Hello ellipsometry world!

Hi there! I am Prema Marsik and this is a website dedicated to my software development project called QBerr. I’ve been building spectroscopic ellipsometers for more than two decades and have written tons of software for data acquisition, handling, processing, and analysis.

QBerr is an encompassing name for collection of libraries and programs written in C++ under Qt framework. The “Q” in the name QBerr is related the that, and the rest of the name is meant as an honor to Dwight W. Berreman, author of several cornerstone papers about optics.

This website should serve as a portal for users and contributors. There will be user wiki and code documentation. The blog section of this page will give me a informal platform to publish ideas and comments about the project.
